ADOPTION INFORMATION
ALL ADOPTION MEETINGS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Our cat adoption fees are as follows:
Kittens $230 (pair $430)
Teenagers $150 (6 - 12 months)
Adults $100 (12 months +)
Our cats and kittens are already de-sexed, microchipped, registered on NZCAR before they are available for adoption. All cats and kittens have had at least their 1st vaccination and are up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.

We have over 80 cats and teens in care so we will have the perfect furry feline for you! All of our cats and kittens are adopted desexed, microchipped, registered, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Are you ready for adoption?
Adopting a cat is not a short term commitment. Cats may live 15-20 years. Please ask yourself these questions before submitting an application.
Am I renting?
Renting is not a deal breaker or a reason you should not adopt BUT the reality of finding and affording the extra cost of a pet-friendly rental with any amount of notice is extremely difficult.
Where will I be in 15-20 years?
No one truly knows, but thinking ahead of how a out-of-town or overseas move would go with an extra dependent is important.
Is it smart for me to get a young cat considering my age?
It is not meant to be taken as discrimination but the reality of rescue is having adult cats dumped on us with no notice as their humans are in hospital, have had to move into care or have passed away.
Think about a contingency plan for if this happens. Family, friends, adopting an older cat instead. All these options are far better than your beloved pet ending up at a rescue shelter - again.
